Ever since the movie ‘Eega’ was announced, there has been a keen interest surrounding this project as this was a never before attempted format in Telugu Cinema. The principal character of the movie is a fly (Eega). The hero of the movie dies in tragic circumstances and is reborn as a fly. Rajamouli has used cutting edge technology and advanced graphics to come up with an engaging story of how this fly takes its revenge on its enemies.
Because the principal character is a fly, the movie’s appeal is not limited to any region or language as would have been the case with a normal hero. The film can find a pan Indian audience. If Eega finds success at the Box Office, it truly will change the face of Telugu Cinema.

Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu’s upcoming multistarrer film Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu shooting is currently on in hero Jagapathi Babu’s house, Filmnagar.. Scenes involving family members are being shot. A song was canned in Visakhapatnam on Venkatesh recently. Samantha is set to romance Mahesh and Anjali of Journey fame will pair opposite Venkatesh. Mahesh Babu will start working for the movie from February 9th onwards. Srikanth Addala is direct ing the movie while Dil Raju is producing it. Music is being scored by Mickey J Meyer.

Mega Power Star Ram Charan Teja’s new film Racha is progressing at a rapid pace and recently, the opening song of Racha has been canned in Chennai. The latest news is hot Bollywood actress Lisa Haydon is pairing up with Ram Charan in a song which is touted to be one of the highlights with stunning dances.

Racha, an out and out action entertainer is being directed by Sampath Nandi and produced by NV Prasad and Paras Jain on Mega Super Good Films banner with music by Mani Sharma has Tamanna as the heroine and Ajmal as the antagonist.

Nayantara who decided to bid good bye to films after her mythological wonder ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’ where she mesmerized everyone as Sita opposite Balakrishna as Rama, burst into tears at the thought of leaving the films. But with her marriage with lover boy choreographer Prabhudeva getting delayed, she gave green signal to another Tollywood flick. Buzz is she will be romancing King Nagarjuna under Dasarath’s direction.Dasarath earlier made ‘Santosham’ starring Nagarjuna. D.Siva Prasad Reddy who made couple of hit films with Nag on Kamakshi Movies will be producing the film. Buzz is though film makers considered many heroines for the role, they finalized Nayantara with Nag himself suggesting her name. This is the second film where Nag and Nayan will be romancing. Earlier they starred in ‘Boss’. The film will be going to sets in March. Though there were reports that Nayan increased her remuneration steeply with the success of ‘SRR’, the film makers kept her pay as confidential.

Kalyan Ram who is looking for a break in tollywood is doing a new film under cinematographer turned director Sunil Reddy’s direction. The film is cruising on in RFC with crucial scenes pictured in a hospital like set erected for the purpose. The scenes featured Kalyan Ram, Kartik, Suresh and others. Kriti Karbanda and Nikisha Patel is vying for Kalyan Ram’s love. Renowned Hollywood technicians are working overnight for the film as the film makers are making it in 3D format. This action entertainer with mythological entertainer is slated for release in the second half of the year. Buzz is the film is tentatively titled ‘OM’.

Just a day ago, there has been news that Puri Jagannadh and Ravi Teja are teaming up for a film Two Idiots that would be commencing from March in Bangkok. However, the latest update is the film has been titled as Devudu Chesina Manushulu and Puri Jagannadh has dropped the idea of making a sequel to Idiot.

Well, a film has released with the same title in 1973 that has NT Rama Rao, Super Star Krishna in the lead roles which was blockbuster hit. The film will start rolling camera from March.

The heroine and other cast and crew details of Devudu Chesina Manushulu are yet to be revealed.
